666 Marine provide hull cleaning services to the majority of the tourism fleet working out of Cairns and Port Douglas.
We also:
 

• Inspect and clean vessels running gear (propellers, prop shafts and rudders)

• Change anodes.

• Inspect and clear sea strainers.

• Provide a visual hull inspection service either by divers (with camera). This service depends on underwater visibility.

• Search and retrieve items dropped overboard

Generally, we recommend scheduling maintenance every six months to keep your boat in top shape. However, the frequency may vary based on your usage, kind of paint on your hull and local conditions. Regular check-ups will help avoid major issues.

Our services are primarily available in the Cairns area, covering all nearby beaches and regions. If you’re located slightly outside of this area, reach out to check if we can assist you.

Our services are primarily available in the Cairns Marlin Marina. Contact us to organise a courtesy berth for your hull cleans and underwater boat maintenance. 

You can easily book our services by giving us a call or sending us a text or email. 

As per legislation laid out by the DPI, Department of Primary Industries, GBRMPA and Ports North, no anti-fouled vessels can be hull scrubbed in the Cairns marina and surrounding waters. Only vessels with a hard pack coating (eg. Jotamastic 87) are allowed to be scrubbed. All other services listed can go ahead.
